How Are Sinks Installed with a Quartz or Granite Countertop?

It's so exciting! Your new kitchen design is coming together. But before you order all your finishes, including a new sink, you need to know how it all works with your new counters. The great news is that The Countertop Shop has the knowledge and experience to add custom granite or quartz countertops  to your Perrysburg or Toledo home with the sink style of your choice. Traditional Drop-In Sink If you have chosen a drop-in sink for your new countertops, its measurement will be needed when we come out to your home to create the template. The hole for the sink is cut out of the granite or quartz slab during the fabrication process. After the counters are slid into place on your cabinet base, the sink is dropped into the prepared hole. The edges are sealed with resin. Holes are cut for the faucets and the taps are also dropped into place. Some sinks may need additional bracing underneath.
